ok this is not z related at all this is on my friens DSM, but it's totally a mechanics question hopefully the Z community can help us out past 3 days we have been trying to get the rear shock off his 91 dsm (it was the original shock!) so imagine how stuck it is. Low and behold the actual collar of the shock (bottom) is fused onto the spindle assembly, we got the shock off and the bushing we cut away already but we can figure out how to get the inner collar off (in the pic below it is the green, the red is the outter collar black is the bushing and the brown is the spindle (i guess u call it). in any case we've tried a propylene torch, chisel, hammer everything short of trying to cut it off with a cutting wheel (or plasma cutter). any other ideas before we resort to that???
